LCSC Names Lauren Huff as Principal of Tiger Cubs Pre-K
Lebanon Community School Corporation (LCSC) is proud to announce that Mrs. Lauren Huff has been appointed as the new principal of Tiger Cubs Pre-K. The LCSC Board of Trustees voted unanimously to hire Huff at their regular meeting on Tuesday, April 21.
A proud graduate of Lebanon Community Schools, Huff brings both professional experience and a deep personal connection to the district. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in math from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI) and later obtained her master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, and Supervision from Western Governors University.
Huff began her career teaching 1st and 2nd grades at Thorntown Elementary before joining Lebanon Middle School in 2021 as a 6th-grade science teacher. During her time at Lebanon Middle School, she quickly emerged as a leader, actively participating in Professional Learning Communities and taking on increasing responsibilities. In 2024, she joined the administrative team as an assistant principal, further demonstrating her commitment to student success and staff collaboration.
“Being named the Lebanon Pre-K Principal is both an honor and a deeply meaningful opportunity for me,” said Huff. “As a proud graduate of Lebanon, this community has played an important role in shaping who I am today. It is incredibly special to now serve the very place that helped guide my own journey. With the opening of this new Pre-K program in the coming school year, I am excited to help lay a strong foundation for our youngest learners and their families. I look forward to building a welcoming, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and begin their educational journey with confidence.”
Superintendent Dr. Jon Milleman shared his enthusiasm for Huff’s appointment. “Mrs. Huff has proven herself to be an outstanding leader in LCSC. We are excited for her to bring her elementary school experience and expertise to the preschool. We know that she will be an excellent ambassador for the program and a positive advocate for early childhood education in the community.”
In her personal time, Huff enjoys spending time with her husband, Steven, and their two sons, Lawson and Burton. The family enjoys camping during the summer and looks forward to their annual trips to Disney World. Huff also enjoys gardening, reading, and cheering on the Indianapolis Colts during football season.
LCSC is excited to welcome Mrs. Lauren Huff into this new role and looks forward to the leadership she will bring to Tiger Cubs Pre-K this fall.
About Tiger Cubs Pre-K
Tiger Cubs Pre-K is a new program opening in August 2026 and is now enrolling for the upcoming school year. The program will serve 4-year-old students preparing for kindergarten, along with students enrolled in the district’s developmental preschool program. Classes will be held at the newly renovated former Central Elementary building on Williams Street and at Perry-Worth Elementary.
