Zionsville marks 25 years as a Tree City USA, plants 1,300 trees in 2025

ZIONSVILLE — The Town of Zionsville is marking 25 years as a Tree City USA, the National Arbor Day Foundation designation that recognizes communities meeting standards for urban forestry, the town announced April 24.

Over the past year, more than 1,300 trees were planted across the community, according to the town. Officials cited the program as supporting sustainability efforts and the continued growth of Zionsville’s tree canopy.
