Pulte Homes is asking to rezone 140 acres along 300 South for a 209-home subdivision. Plan Commission gave a narrow 4–3 favorable recommendation; council heard the matter May 4 and continued it to June 1.

For the second time in two years, the council voted down a Woodland Grove development at U.S. 421. The 5–2 vote on May 4 came after a packed-room hearing and stiff neighborhood opposition.
