Whitestown, IN [April 9, 2026] – Step back in time to the Viking age at the Whitestown Viking Fest, taking place April 24-26 at Anson Acres Park in Whitestown.
This unique event will feature Viking reenactors in full garb competing in combat. Guests can explore villages where Vikings will be living throughout the weekend, preparing food, crafting goods, and showcasing ways of life during that time.
The festival will include live stage entertainment featuring music and performances, as well as artisans showcasing unique handcrafted goods. Guests can also enjoy a variety of delicious food and mead.
Children can play on the inflatables, which will be open during the day and close at dusk. Competitive adults can test their strength in the Keg Toss competition, while younger participants can join the Iron Skillet Toss. Prizes will be awarded in each category.
“Our team is excited to create an interactive experience where guests can step into Viking history through living villages, performances, and hands-on activities,” stated Assistant Town Manager/Director of Parks, Dominic Cornett.

Tickets are available for $7 in advance or $10 at the gate, with advance sales ending at 11:55 p.m. on April 23. Admission is free for children ages 2 and under. Each ticket is valid for one day.
